Can we consult a musical work before buying it?
A large majority of scores that we offer are available for consultation. We are currently updating our website so you can view online a sample of these scores. A magnifying glass appears on the right of products for which a sample in PDF format is available online. Just click on the magnifying glass to see the extract. If you wish to view a specific product for wich the extract is not yet available online, please contact us.

I want to order, how do I proceed?
The best way is to use the order form from our website by following these steps :

Select the products you want to order by clicking on the basket at the right of each product.

View the details of your order by clicking on "View your cart" located at the top of the page. You can remove any unwanted product by clicking on the red X to the left of each product. You can also add products using once again the menu bar or search engine.

The minimum required automatically appears when you view your order. If necessary, you can increase the amount of each product selected. You must press the "Refresh" button to adjust the calculation of the total price.

When you're ready to order, press "Fill the order form" at the bottom of your shopping list.

You must register your details (all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory) and select the payment method.

Press the button "Confirm Order". The following message will appear: "The purchase has been completed. You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes."
- You can view your order by pressing "View your order".
If you prefer, you can also send your order by fax at 450-627-4102, by phone at 450-627-5403 or 1-888-627-5401 or by email at info@editionsgam.ca. Make sure you have on hand all necessary information to complete the order such as: the name of your set, the product code, title, arranger or harmonizer and quantity of each product desired.
What are the delivery costs?
Costs vary depending on weight and distance of delivery and are confirmed when processing your order.
What are the delivery delays?
You will be soon able to estimate the delivery of your orders from the shipping time placed on the left of the shopping cart of each product. This delay represents the delay usually encountered to prepare the product for delivery. It can sometimes be shorter. Note that the number of days is business days.
If you order many products that do not have all the same shipping time, we must consider the time the highest among the products ordered. For example, if you order a product "Ships in 3-5 days " and a second product "Ships in 2-3 weeks ", you must anticipate shipping of your entire order within 2 to 3 weeks.
At shipping time, add the normal delivery times Canada Post (usually 2-3 days for the Regions of Quebec).

Are there reductions if I order in a large quantity?
Unfortunately we offer discounts only on very specific cases. The amount have no impact on costs. The profit margin in the printed edition is set to a minimum so that you can benefit the best possible price.
Is there a policy of return or exchange?
All sales are final. No returns accepted. Possible exchange for equipment damaged during shipping within 10 days.
What methods of payment can be used?
We accept payment by cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Only customers who have an open an account with us will be charged for payment by check by return mail.
Why are there minimal quantities required to order?
Out of respect for copyrights, each publisher has established a minimum amount required to purchase musical scores for singers. GAM Publishing, had set the minimum set at 20 copies. We accept a lower amount on certain conditions. please contact us for more information.
Can I reproduce an extract of book or a score for my personal use?
The Law on Copyright contains provisions for fair use of a work for purposes of private study or research, criticism and review and does not constitute a violation of copyright . Since the law does not define fair use, courts have retained the following criteria :
- Is an important part of the work has been reproduced?
- What is the purpose of the use of the work : private study, research, criticism or review ?
- What will be the impact of the use of a copy on the potential sales of the work?

Can I photocopy the totally of the pages of a product (score) which I own?
No, never without the permission of the copyright owner. Owning a book or any other work does not confer any right on the ownership of copyright. The sale of a work does not transfer copyright. An author retains his rights over his work and has the exclusive privilege to authorize or prohibit the reproduction.
If I reproduce a musical work without authorization but which I mention the name of the author and the editor, do I violate the rights of the author?
Yes. Mention the name of the author and publisher is good but the Act on Copyright contains no provision stating that such a reference eliminates the need to obtain the required permissions to reproduce a work.
What are the consequences if the rights of the author are violated?
The consequences of such violations are important. A rights holder may take any legal actions (injunction, action to claim punitive damages, accountability, etc.). The Law on Copyright provides new remedies for holders of copyright by the introduction of predetermined punitive damages that guarantee the provision of an amount of at least $ 500 and at most $ 20 000 for all violations relating to a work.

I search a title or a product but I cannot find it.
Perhaps we escaped a title, a novelty of a publisher was not included on the website. Then we invite you to contact us by email or telephone to check availability. Please have all necessary information for the research: Title, arranger and / or harmonizer, catalog of product, name of publisher or any other information that can help us to find the desired product.
Do you have accompaniment or learning tracks for singers?
Yes, we have developed a few years ago, the series VOXBAND. It is a tool much appreciated by the leaders of choirs and singers who have difficulty reading a musical score. It contains the complete vocal frame of the work so you can get an idea of the tone of harmonization, the 4 learning tracks (1 track per voice) and the soundtrack accompaniment (orchestra) for rehearsals and concerts. These discs are reproducible within your set. Three formats are available: VOXBAND – complete, VOXBAND – learning track only, VOXBAND - soundtrack only. Enter the word VOXBAND in the search engine for a list of available products.
Can we receive a catalogue of your products?
Of course, simply contact us and we will be happy to send you free catalog of your choice (Choral or Other). Note that you can download our latest online catalog from the home page of our website.
How can I submit a musical work? What is the procedure to submit a musical work?
Just send us your work in Finale or Sibelius format (specifying the type of training and the title clearly in the file) and a short summary of your musical career (biography) at info@editionsgam.ca . Your work will be subject to an evaluation. If successful we will begin the editing process which involves providing small corrections if necessary, preparation and signing of a publishing contract. When everything is in order, we take care of the layout, marketing, registration (if applicable) and the sale of your product.
We contact all composers and arrangers who submitted a work. Be patient, evaluation of the works received take place only twice a year. .
