Sound Recordings (Mechanical Licenses). Licensing for recordings of works in GAM's catalog is handled by the SODRAC. Please visit their website to request the appropriate mechanical license.
Complete our Online License Request form for most other licensing situations, including the following:
- synchronization licensing
- reproducing excerpts in books, articles, dissertations, etc.)
- arranging musical works
- photocopying original scores
Making a recording?
To obtain a mechanical license (for cd recording or any other support), please contact the SODRAC.
When will I hear from GAM?
Please allow 3-4 weeks for GAM to process your request. Processing times may
be longer when information and approval must be obtained from our publisher
affiliates. If we have any questions about your project we will contact you using
the information you provide on this form.
